A few things to know

Is the app free?

CPU monitoring and the two basic companions, Mira and Luna, are free. Extra character packs are optional one-time purchases. No subscription.

Why can CPU usage go above 100%?

Each CPU core can contribute up to 100%. Work spread across several cores can add up to more than 100%.

Does it close apps automatically?

By default, QuietCPU asks before closing a process. Automatic closing only applies to rules you explicitly enable. System processes and active apps are protected.

Can I change the size or start it at login?

Yes. App settings let you choose the character’s size, the menu bar percentage display and whether QuietCPU starts when you log in.
